Sabareesh- a voice that is clear as calm before sunrise

Shabareesh Pillai

Sabareesh is a distinct presence on the Smule Malayalam singers so noticeable whose voice and songs take you to a world of calm of early mornings, maybe occasionally interrupted by the sounds of the temple bells or “shankoli”. It is pure like the waters of our sacred rivers and it is a voice that seems to convey to its audience pure feelings of really something that belongs to another world.

We happen to stumble upon this singer where he was found singing in the company of many super-talented classically trained collaborators. So what makes Sabareesh a singer distinct from the millions of other trained singers? We hear all the time on Sabareesh’s profile that he is not professionally trained and in his collaborations, he strives to achieve perfection. Not to say here that, not being trained in music, is a qualification to become a featured singer at no means, despite all that facts, he doesn’t sound like a person not trained in music. So that is real god-given voice and talent; that he over a time of our observation of his performances displayed so much discipline and control and talent that we can not think of him not being featured here. If you support Sabareesh and his singing career visit him on his Smule page here.

When informed about this selection to be featured among many other esteemed singers on Smule he said “Heartfelt thanks to all my followers and Smule Sing”. He added again “I feel, I do not deserve this, there are many outstanding talents on Smule than me”. Such is real Sabareesh.

But here we have to admit we can not believe he never wanted a career in singing or any fame. If he wants them he got everything going for a career in music. We stand by Sabareesh and his talent and support whatever Sabareesh wants to do with his talent. All the best wishes to Sabareesh from Smule India Singer.
